Here at WCEC our total focus is concentrated on client satisfaction. Our success derives from the inputs of our multi-lingual management staff, who hold internationally recognized qualifications backed by comprehensive practical experience. We offer expertise in Survey, Engineering design, construction, Project Management and Inspection Services. We pride ourselves on being a flexible, quality-oriented company centered on the needs of the client. WCEC is able to offer the same high standard of service as the large international engineering firms, but at rates that are competitive and in line with local market conditions.

Phuwanai (Best) Wanamakok

WCEC was founded in 2005 by Phuwanai (Best) Wanamakok, a bright and accomplished Thai. Prior to this, Best studied and worked in the U.S. for ten years and is certified as a civil engineer in the State of Ohio and Michigan.

He is also a survey intern in the State of Ohio. In Thailand, he is certified as a professional civil engineer and land surveyor.

He is a member of many organizations, viz: National Society of Professional Engineer (NSPE); Engineers without Borders-USA (EWB-USA); Professional Land Surveyors of Ohio (PLSO), Phuket Real Estate Club and the Rotary Club of Patong Beach. He is also a board member of the Phuket Real Estate Club (2008-2009); Secretary and President-elect of the Rotary Club of Patong Beach (2008-2009); board member of the Soi Dog Foundation (2006-2008) and a board member of the Home & Life NGO (2009 to date).

Best has also published a technical paper in conjunction with J.C. Martinez, I.L. Al-Qadi, and J.A. Wilkes entitled ‘The Use of Discrete Event Simulation to Design Geocomposite Membrane Installations.’ This may be referenced in the Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 1772, TRB, National Research Council, Washington, D.C., 2001, pp. 197-202.

Able Wanamakok

Able is part of the WCEC marketing team. She also worked as a TV presenter for almost 4 years at Phuket Gazette TV (PGTV). She graduated from Bowling Green State University (BGSU) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, specializing in International Business and Hospitality Management. Able is totally committed to making WCEC a success.

She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Patong Beach and served as the Secretary in 2007-2008. Both Best and Able are highly active in the community and like to support non-profit organizations; especially those which help less-fortunate children.

Damrongsak (Richard) Nantagard

Richard is an associate engineer and licensed surveyor in Thailand. He works as the construction manager, for WCEC. His extensive experience includes building more than 50,000 square meters of roadway, and staking more than 10,000 pilings for companies which range from hotel chains to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT). His commitment to quality is total.

Arkom (Eric) Kamaye

A civil engineer and licensed surveyor in Thailand, Eric is our engineer and also responsible for quality control for all construction accounts with WCEC. He is a specialist in Geographic Information System (GIS), Computer Aided-Design (CAD in 2D & 3D) and ArcView.
